Columbia Estuary Report - 04/04/1999

A TUFTED DUCK was see Saturday at the Warrenton Sewage Treatment Ponds.

BONAPART'S GULLS are on the move. 4 in mostly alternate plumage were on
the Warrenton Ponds. OSPREYS have returned to the Hwy 101 site one appeared
on Tuesday the other arrived Sunday.

FORK-TAILED STORM-PETRELS continued to be seen throughout the week at SJCR.
Storm-petrels were also reported from East Sand Island and Seaside Cove.

4 RED PHALAROPES were on the Warrenton Ponds on Tuesday.
