Hi Tweets!
Today I led a group of Mountaineers on a hike through the Federation
Forest State Park just outside of Enumclaw.
While driving to and from I saw some HUGE black birds flapping in the sky
from just east of Auburn right up to the Federation Forest Park.
Could these have been RAVENS? VULTURES? Crows on steriods?
Also, we didn't SEE any birds in the Park, but I think we HEARD Mountain
Blue Birds. Do they have very melodic twitters and tweets? What ever
these birds were they were sure singing up a storm! I guess it was too
early in the season for panhandling Stellar's Jays. Whaaaa! I love the
antics of those flashy blue beggers!
