Wallk on Juanita Bay causway 10:30 am, today Mon. April 5. (No
binoculars--Darn!) Not much activity, few birds on the water.
Saw: 1 great blue heron in full breeding plumage-beautiful; 1 hooded
merganser close up.; 17 cormorants on posts; 2 mallard drakes (only!);
Nesting pair of Canada Geese; 2 buffleheads; and a half-dozen coots. And
that was about all. Oh, yes, misc. crows, pigeons, and song birds.
