April 4, 1999, 10 :39. This report was received yesterday from John Guerney
(?), 253-884-5636, who birded the Theler Wetlands just south of Belfair in
Mason County on March 28th. He saw large numbers of AUDUBON'S WARBLERS and 6
WESTERN BLUEBIRDS.

Friday April 2, 12:55 pm. This is Mike Weil at 425-503-5766. Birding with
Michael Mann. Birding at lunch hour today in the Snoqualmie Valley in the
loop that is formed by West Snoqualmie Valley Road, 100th St, 284th Ave, and
Carnation Farms Road. Actually some very interesting birds. Birding it
yesterday, we had 1 male MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRD, at the intersection of where
284th and 100th meet, right up at the river, across the river in grass
fields. A couple days ago, a little bit farther to the south, as it's about
to make a right hand turn to go back across Sikes Place (?), there were 6
WESTERN BLUEBIRDS, males and females. Neither were present today however,
but today we did have 6 WHITE-FRONTED GEESE in the field right between
Carnation Farms Road and Sikes Place. As well as, if you continue down
Carnation Farms Road towards Carnation, and the Carnation Wildlife Sanctuary
Pond, there is a single GREATER YELLOWLEGS. Thank you and good birding.

(? sorry, didn't get) form of the WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW in song at Myrtle
Edwards Park, at the north edge of downtown Seattle.
