I had one of those ironic experiences with the Kent Valley Ross's Goose on
Wed, Apr 8. After dropping my wife off at Boeing Tennis at 9:30, I drove
the short distance to Kent Ponds to look for the bird, but was
unsuccessful. I returned a few minutes early, a little before 11:00 to
pick up my wife, and decided to take a look at the field north of the
tennis club, where there was a Red-tailed Hawk in a lone tree and some
Canada Geese. As soon as I got out of the car, I spotted a white object
among the geese. It was the Ross's Goose.

Boeing Tennis is on the west side of West Valley Highway, several blocks
North of 212th, across from an ARCO gas station.
