Hi Bob,

Actually, you couldn't do better than to return to southeast Arizona. July
is one of the peak months for birds there, and you would see many species
that were not around in April.

Another suggestion would be Utah. Let me know if this destination tempts
you; I can offer some specific pointers.

You are going to get summer showers no matter where you go, but nothing
like a Seattle winter.
