Sightings for Saturday, April 10

The Cassin's Auklet was seen in what is becoming its usual location east of
Canada Place. Also seen at this location was a Peregrine Falcon. The
Tufted Duck was again seen by the Stone Bridge in Stanley Park. A Caspian
Tern, the first of the northward migration, was heard in overflight in the
vicinity of 21st Ave and 154th Street is south Surrey.

In a late report for Friday, a Townsend's Solitaire was at Deer Lake Park.

Sightings for Friday, April 9

The Cassin's Auklet was seen east of Canada Place. Four Eared Grebes were
seen from the White Rock Pier and eight Mountain Bluebirds were on the Pitt
River Dike. In a late report for Thursday, two Crested Mynas were at 6th
and Yukon in Vancouver.

Sightings for Thursday, April 8

The Cassin's Auklet was east of Canada Place. The bird often travels up to
100 feet underwater when diving and can therefore be difficult to relocate.
The male Tufted Duck was near the Stone Bridge in Stanley Park.

In a late report for Wednesday, the spring arrival Cliff Swallow and two
male Ring-necked Ducks was on the outer ponds at Iona. A Rough-legged Hawk
was also at Iona.
