These do not match the listing of collar numbers I have for the
Fairbanks area banding project which has been ongoing since
1994. However I am missing the 1998 band numbers. These geese are all
parvipes and taverni which would be noticeably larger than minima
anyway. Collars have black alphanumerics on a white background. Up to
mid 1997, the collars started with a letter, e.g. A29, A30; after
mid-1997, the pattern was reversed, e.g., 06A, 07A.
