OK Don, I stand corrected geographically; how about somewhat-northwest
-central-western Oregon? I visit this area 1-2 times/year and bird 'n
creature watching is always wonderful. The western view from my friends'
ranch-house is exquisite, but also a stark contrast showing the effects
of clear-cut giga-swaths across the entire east-flank forests of this
region of the coastal range, area west of Falls City.
Cheers,
