Sightings for Wednesday, April 14

An American White Pelican spent about an hour this afternoon on the pond at
the entrance to Trinity Western University in Langley. The bird was last
seen flying towards Langley. An American Tree Sparrow was feeding on the
newly sown grass near the picnic tables at Grant Narrows, Pitt Lake
management Area. A Northern Shrike, 2 singing Savannah Sparrows and a
possible albino Northern Harrier were south of the nature trail.

Iona had 4 Northern rough-winged Swallows, a Barn Swallow and a Ring-necked
Duck. A Marbled Godwit was at Beach Grove and an American Kestrel was near
the 26th street overpass on Highway 17.

In late reports for Tuesday, the Cassin's Auklet was east of Canada Place
and four Turkey Vultures were over Highway 1 near Mt Lehman.

Sightings for Tuesday, April 13

Ten Grey-crowned Rosy Finches were seen at Point Roberts. A Townsend's
Solitaire has been feeding on the beach in Port Moody for the last several
days.

In late reports for Sunday April 11, a Townsend's Solitaire was in a yard
at 53rd and Larch in Vancouver and a White-throated Sparrow was at 15th and
Trimble.

Sightings for Monday, April 12

The Cassin's Auklet was east of Canada Place. Iona had 4 Mountain
Bluebirds, 22 ring-necked ducks on the outer pond, a Northern Shrike, 4
American Pipits, 350 breeding plumaged Western Sandpipers and 500 Dunlin.
