On a quick trip to Kent Ponds today I saw one Swan, too far away to tell what
kind without a scope, and a flock of about a dozen Pipits working the mud and
grass just in front of the south tower, some in breeding plumage, some not,
one with a really, really bright yellow stripe over the eye.
