Hello Tweeters,

One of the nice things (perhaps only ONE) about being a temp is all the
geography I cover. I've just started an assignment at Flight Safety
Boeing at the old Longacres site in Renton.

There's a pond adjacent to the main parking lot. I didn't have my
binoculars, but I spied several "usual suspects", and some distant blurs
that might be different birds. Monday I'll come armed.

Any other nice birding sites in that neck of the woods?

Usual suspects.....

CANADA GEESE (several "squadrons" separated from each other. All seemed
to be "Western" style. Two came in for a landing, and immediatly started
hissing, and lunging at each other. They were still lunging and hissing
at each other and other geese fifteen minutes later. Maritial troubles?)
AMERICAN COOTS
NORTHERN SHOVELERS
AMERICAN WIGEONS
EURASIAN WIGEONS (Two)
VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOWS
Robins AND *(&## at )!! starlings

Some small "tweetie" birds, and other non water fowl birds in the grass
by the pond. Those "tweetie" birds are so difficult to id......they just
flit and flutter so fast, by the time my binocs are focused they're GONE!

Have a GREAT weekend!
