today (18 april) a group from the central okanagan naturalists club
was hiking in the hills behind summerland (west side of okanagan lake).

the best birds we saw were a group of about 60 sandhill cranes flying north.

on minute they were in two vees, the next they were a disorganized flock.

spring must really be here.
