I leave my scope set up in the house focused on my front yard feeder.
Yesterday morning, during a half an hour period of time, we had, Golden
Crowned Sparrows, White Crowned Sparrows, Oregon Juncos, Varied Thrushs,
Pine Siskins, Evening Grosbeaks, California Quails, Goldfinches, and
House Finches. And then, an mature Bald Eagle flew in and sat on the
Doug Fir above.

We had out three pairs of bins too, so there was a lot of excitement.
Breakfast with the birds, brought two converts. My sister is a birder
(and brother-in-law tolerant), but the excitement of my niece and nephew
was a thrill for me.

Nice!
