I have my office in a second floor bedroom in our house. Right outside the
window overlooking the back yard is a large white ash tree. The tree has
always been very good at this time of year but the last four days have been
fabulous.

In intermittent viewing since Saturday morning I have seen eighteen species
and one form (Slate-colored Junco) including three species new to my yard
list: Chipping Sparrow, Lincoln's Sparrow and Turkey Vulture. The vulture
is really a surprise because I live on the west side of Yakima in the middle
of the residential areas. Really quite a ways from where you would expect
to see a vulture.
