Hi All

Some deranged person released these critters into Stanley Park years ago and they are, I believe, melanistic Eastern Greys.

Since I was a kid, in the 40s, they have now spread throughout Vancouver, proper, and gone at least 30 mi east out to where I live now in Maple Ridge.

They have just started showing up within the last 10 years along with their Grey kin.
