Ed, I've seen them before up in the Skagit (6 on one tree), and more
recently, down at the Kent ponds. A non-birding person at work gave me a
pretty good description of one too. Maybe they're becoming more common
around here--I certainly hope so. Growing up in Iowa, I've always loved
the song of the meadowlark!
