Hi Tweeters,
Are any of you familiar with eastside lowland backpacking trails? We
are going on an overnight backpack in May and are thinking about the
Yakima Rim trail (L.T. Murray Wildlife area), off of Wenas road. We
hear the wildflowers are great there. We are looking for any overnight,
backcountry ideas within 100 miles or so of Grand Coulee, and have
considered the Lake Chelan Shoreline trail, also, but kind of want to
avoid the Lady of the Lake boat cost. Of course, our options are
limited by snow level. So, any backpackers out there? We promise to
give a bird report when we get back!
