Sightings for Thursday, April 22

The Cassin's Auklet has been relocated in its usual location between Canada
Place and the Helijet Pad in Burrard Inlet. The spring arrival
Pacific-slope Flycatcher was seen at Crescent Park in S Surrey.

Small numbers of Whimbrel were at Gilbert Beach in Richmond and in the
field NW of 176th and 8th Ave in S Surrey. Also in S Surrey, 37 Western
Meadowlarks were in a field west of 184th at 8th Avenue. A female Mountain
Bluebird was on Grauer Road, Sea Island.

Sightings for Wednesday, April 21

A White-tailed Kite was seen about half a kilometer south of Kilby, Nr
Harrison. The Ross's Goose was again west of the Coquitlam River, between
the Forensic Institute and the Mary Hill Bypass. Also at Colony Farm were
an American Kestrel and a Barn Owl.

200 Whimbrel were on the polo field at 8th Avenue and 176th Street in S
Surrey. Two Townsend's Solitaires were SE of the Bowling Green in QE Park.

In a late report for Tuesday, a Breeding plumage Pacific Golden-plover was
seen at the tip of the Iona South Jetty.

Sightings for Tuesday, April 20

The WHITE-TAILED KITE was seen on Sea Island in the Cora Brown subdivision.
Also at this location was an American Bittern. The Ross's Goose that
spent part of the winter at Como Lake was relocated at Colony Farm.

The polo field at 17948 8th Ave. in S Surrey had up to 151 Whimbrel. An
American Kestrel was seen in Langley.
