Sightings for Saturday, April 24

The CASSIN'S AUKLET was in its usual location at Canada Place. The ROSS'S
GOOSE was at Colony Farm, west of the Coquitlam River between the Forensic
Institute and the Mary Hill Bypass. An AMERICAN DIPPER was near the
spillway of the Capilano Dam and 4 CRESTED MYNAHS were at 1st and Wylie in
Vancouver.

Eight WHIMBREL and 11 GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE were near the foot of
Gilbert in Richmond. Iona had 17 RING-NECKED DUCKS and a PEREGRINE FALCON.
Another PEREGRINE and 6 LINCOLN'S SPARROWS were in the old Cora Brown
subdivision on Sea Island. A GREAT HORNED OWL was at Beach Grove in
Tsawwassen.

In a late report for Friday, a GREY-CROWNED ROSY FINCH was in a bare patch
of dirt next to the snowboard rental shop at Cypress Park.

Sightings for Friday, April 23

The CASSIN'S AUKLET was at Canada Place and an AMERICAN KESTREL was at
MacDonald Beach on Sea Island. A TURKEY VULTURE and an OSPREY were NW of
the Lougheed Mall in Burnaby.

In a late report for Thursday, the first PURPLE MARTIN of the northbound
migration was reported from Rocky Point in Port Moody.

Sightings for Thursday, April 22

The CASSIN'S AUKLET has been relocated in its usual location between Canada
Place and the Helijet Pad in Burrard Inlet. The spring arrival
PACIFIC-SLOPE FLYCATCHER was seen at Crescent Park in S Surrey.

Small numbers of WHIMBREL were at Gilbert Beach in Richmond and in the
field NW of 176th and 8th Ave in S Surrey. Also in S Surrey, 37 WESTERN
MEADOWLARKS were in a field west of 184th at 8th Avenue. A female MOUNTAIN
BLUEBIRD was on Grauer Road, Sea Island.
