A few years ago, I noticed that many of the Pine Siskins
visiting my feeders were ill. I heard then that they were
suffering from some disease or infection, which I have now
forgotten. At any rate I am finding several sick birds this
spring. I find them sitting on or near the ground, with fluffed
feathers and they allow one to get very close before flying off.
I would appreciate any information about this, including
any thing I could do to assist the birds.
