hello tweetsters.

today, i learned that i will be speaking in san diego on the
23rd of october. the group for whom i will be speaking suggested
that i come a day early so i could go bird watching. does anyone
have suggestions for good places to birdwatch? if i could write a
bird wish list, i'd love to possibly see any of these species while i
am there;

red phalarope
black skimmer
flammulated owl
common poorwill
lesser nighthawk
white-throated swift
acorn woodpecker
black phoebe
vermillion flycatcher

cactus wren
phainopepla
blue grosbeak
indigo bunting
black-chinned sparrow
rufous-crowned sparrow
tri-colored blackbird
lawrence's goldfinch
