Well, Tweeters, I didn't get out this weekend like Maureen did, but as of
Sunday, 25 April, we still have Juncos, Varied Thrushes, and Pine Siskins at
our feeder (yes, even the V Thrush feeds there!). First time I have seen
five sparrows there at one time, OK, they're pretty boring, but five is still
five: White-crowned, Golden-crowned, Fox, Song, and House.

One of the White-crowned's was really striking. The back was dark brown with
white, not tan, streaks. The white was as white as the stripes on the head,
looked a little bit like a Marsh Wren.

A Hermit Thrush showed up this week, as well. No warblers, yet.

Maureen said she saw Loons in the Sound. Last weekend I saw one at the
Fauntleroy Ferry Dock.
