Randy - The incidence of albinisim in Sandhill Cranes is apparently
quite low. I would ask that you try to get your bro-in-law to confirm
that the bird is indeed a Sandhill and not a Whooping Crane. And before
someone pipes up that this is not possible, there was a Whooper seen
near Quesnel, BC, a few years ago.
