Greetings tweetsters,

due to other commitments. 09:00 - 10:30. Overcast, 40F.
The water lilies have started poking their heads through the water surface.

Pied-billed Grebe: numbers are gradually going up. One pair started
construction of a small platform last Wednesday, but have abandoned that
site for now.

Bald Eagle: first egg hatched last Friday (4/23) after 37 days of incubation
(as reported at the time). Not known if there is more than one chick.
Patience. In two weeks when they're big enough to poke their heads over the
nest rim we'll know.
