Well I did see it again, whatever it is. The back color is not as warm
as I first thought, However, this might have been due to the lighting.
The back is a solid color, and it doesn't have a tail-tick (another
point against Hermit Thrush), there is no distinct eye-ring (doesn't
sound like Swainson's either). The thing that sticks out right away is
that the markings on the breast do not extend very far down the front
of the bird. They sort of go down just a bit and then seem to rather
abruptly end. The belly is white, and sort of gets gray towards the
sides. The other thing that stands out is that there appeares to be a
light colored loral patch.
Ideas anyone?
