Hi folks,

Thought that some of the people on the list might be interested in
a potential job working in the sunny Aleutians :-)

Please contact Dr. Jones, et al., as I am not associated with the study.

Two research field assistant positions need to be filled immediately

Our collaborative research project focusing on seabird ecology and
monitoring requires two experienced field assistants to complete a seven
person team. The duration of the project will be mid-May to late August,
the study site, Buldir Island in the western Aleutian Islands, Alaska.
Travel to the study site, accommodation, and food expenses will be covered.

To express your interest, send an e-mail with a brief outline of your
qualifications to Ian Jones (ijones at morgan.ucs.mun.ca),
Fiona Hunter (fmh1002 at hermes.cam.ac.uk) and
Jeff Williams (jeff_williams at mail.fws.gov)

as soon as possible. One position will involve work with the US Fish and
Wildlife monitoring team, the other with Jones and Hunter's auklet
behavioural ecology project.
