Subject: Solitary Sandpiper @ Black Lake Meadows.

I birded the Black Lake Meadows southern pond from 8:20-9:20 this
morning. There were lots of shorebirds around of 5 species. Killdeer
and Least Sandpipers were everywhere and I spotted a single Solitary
Sandpiper feeding on the southern side of the southern pond. I also saw
what might be another Solitary, or the same bird when I looped around to
the north side of the southern pond. There were also a few Greater
Yellowlegs and Common Snipe around.
Time to some yard work :(
Good birding to you all.
