For the Seattle Audubon field trip last Wednesday, we bypassed Bowerman
altogether (which suprised me!) and we went to Bottle Beach instead. It is off
the road between Aberdeen and West Port, just a little past the Johns River
area. We had thousands of Short-billed Dowitcher, Dunlin, and Western
Sandpiper, hundreds of Red Knot, and many Black-bellied Plover and Semipalmated
Plover. There were also a few Leasts and a single Whimbrel.
