Mima Mounds, just south of Littlerock (which is south of Olympia) is very
accessible for wheelchairs. The path is blacktopped and there's very few, if
any, inclines. One of the spots has a wooden ramp that's nice and wide, and
built for wheelchairs, that allows you to see above the Mounds and over the
prairie. Even the outhouse is accessible.

Directions: I-5 South to exit 95. That exit takes you directly onto 128th.
Take 128th right into and through Littlerock. You'll pass the Littlerock
Tavern on your right (that's a landmark, not a plug!!). Drive til you reach a
T in the road. Turn RIGHT onto Mima Road. Drive until you see a sign that
says Mima Mounds about a mile or so down the road. Make a left into the park
and there you are...

Species you'll see..most usually prairie species..Western meadowlarks,
savannah sparrows, Northern Harriers, to name a few. With luck, you may also
see White Tailed kites, Bald Eagles, Merlins and even Peregrine Falcons!
