Method: 60 minute station count at 100m west of "3 rocks" on
SJCR using 20x60 Bushnell spotting scope and 8x50 Bushnell
binoculars. Birds were sorted as to flyby, sitting on beach, sitting
on ocean or sitting on river.

Notes: There were very large numbers of BROWN PELICANS loafing on
the beach today. Two SANDERLINGS were feeding on the beach. There
were large numbers of juv COMMON MURRES being attended by adults on
the ocean (100+) and 300-400 juv CASPIAN TERNS on the beach.
