I was recently asked by a friend how one might discourage Magpies. It
seems that there is a group of about 6 Magpies frequenting her back yard.
The Magpies dive bomb her children and harass their cat. Although I
find the bit about the cat poetic justice, I agreed to find out what I
could about discouraging the troublesome birds. I was hoping you could
post this question on Tweeters and see if you get any response.
