I'm trying to reconcile the distributions of some Swainson's Thrush
subspecies in Washington.

The 'russet-backed' Swainson's thrush (u. ustulata) is in western WA
in Jewett (Birds of Washington State) and in Pyle (Identification
Guide to N American Birds), but 'northeastern Cascades and the east'
in the Breeding Birds Atlas. Presumably this discrepancy is just an
honest error in the atlas?

Oedicus/oedica extends to central WA in Jewett, in c-sw CA in Pyle and
not mentioned in the atlas, which, presumably represents a
reassessment of the previous records?

Which other subspecies have been reported?

Any help would be appreciated. Just when does the Big Book of WA Birds
become available anyway?
