While my suggestion was somewhat tongue in cheek, I was not totally
kidding. Granted it would be nice to get folks to be more native in
their gardening. We and the wildlife would benefit as native plants
are reintroduced into our cities. I'll bet there would even be less
pressure on the water supply system (pun intended).

But the C. Goose problem is a real concern now. We can't go back in
time and correct the errors, nor can we get rid of all lawns tommorrow.
Capturing and killing and consuming these beasts is a viable solution
and is no less moral than killing and eating cattle, chickens, pigs,
etc. Animals eat other animals, that is a simple fact of life.
