Hi Ruth and Tweeters,
Recently I asked if anyone knew why Red-breasted Nuthatches may have left my
property. After listening to them for 24 years I really missed them. Happy
news. This morning a pair was working my dogwood tree with a dead top. They
were a joy to watch.
The recent posts about BRCO, HOSP, etc. have me wondering what I should do
when I see BRCO at my feeders. Try to kill them? With what? Is there
anything we can do that wouldn't risk injuring our native birds?
