On a penguin note:
I have been reading "Waiting to Fly" by Ron Naveen.
(checked it out of the public Library)
It 's about his years of research with Chinstraps, gentoos and
adelies. Not very scientific, but has good moments of what research
is really like, and he paints the Antarctic landscape with words
