Folks - I looking for places to go birding during a visit to NW Washington
in early or mid November. In particular I'm looking for sea going birds
(alcids, harlequin duck, scoters etc), as well as northern species such as
Northern Shrikes, Bohemian Waxwings, Crossbills etc.

In addition, I was thinking of taking a ferry ride or two to get
further chances at ocean type birds and I'd appreciate suggestions on
which ones to take. By the way, I have purchased "A Birder's Guide to
Washington" so once I have the name of a place, I can probably figure out
where it is. Thanks for your time and your recommendations.
