The W.S.F.S. charges 'overheight fees' because you won't fit in the wings.
Most ferries have dubble decks on the sides for autos. Anything over 7 feet
6 inches
high willl not fit there. So they put you on the "Tall" middle part of the
boat and charge
you more.
I have a VW bus and with my Kayak on top I am 3" over height.
Just another way to make money.
