I want to thank the many of you who addressed my question as to the
worthiness of Ducks Unlimited. The great majority seemed to feel money sent
to them was money well spent. A few had bones to pick, mostly about
non-waterfowl losing out to duck habitat, but none went so far as to condemn
the organization for its pro-hunting tilt. I thought I would hear plenty
about that and, to my surprise, there was nary a word about shooting birds.

In any event, I will continue sending DU (not to be confused with DUI) my
annual donation. Again, my thanks for your input.
