I thought Alex was at Cornell, not UCD, but nevermind. My favorite Alex
story was when they showed him a tray of toy cars, and asked him to pick up
the red one. Alex one-by-one picked up every other car on the tray, until
only the red one was left. Then he tipped the tray onto the floor. That is
a bird with a sense of humor.
