But there is another alternative! If you find a certain posting or author
offensive, most emailers contain a rule system or Inbox assistant that will
allow you to automatically delete messages about that subject or from that
author.

What I really like about Tweeters is the diversity of postings. You can
find a whole host of topics discussed from recent field trip reports to a
heated discussion about riparian weeds - and to keep that 'edge' everyone
should feel free to participate (within Dan Victor's constraints, of
course).

Do it for the birds! ;)
