Along this same thread line, too-what is the best type of food/feeder one
can buy to attract California quail? I just saw a covey of them in my
neighborhood for the first time this weekend, and I can't help but be
absolutely charmed by them. They're just so absolutely adorable; especially
the males that brandish that comic-looking head feather with such pride.

How can I convince them to come down to my neck (literally) of the woods?
Any ideas?
