In the lastest edition of the Nature conservancy news magazine, there
is an article about Millstone coffee, that puts Starbucks to shame.
Millstone will contribute 2% (better than nothing) of net sales of
their new Exotics line of organic coffee. Millstone has guaranteed to contribute at tleast $400, 000 over the
next five years.
They don't say shade grown,
but they are "produced without chemical fertilizers, pesticides or
herbicides". Look for the conservancy's oak-leaf logo andmission
statement on
Organic Mayan Black Onyx and Organic Axtec Star and Sky
