FRANKLIN'S GULL

Sightings for Wednesday August 18th

A juvenile FRANKLIN'S GULL was at Pitt Lake and 26 COMMON TERNS were seen
from the White Rock Pier.


Sightings for Tuesday August 17th

There was a late report of a RED-NECKED PHALAROPE with a party of 27
LONG-BILLED DOWITCHERS at the foot of Piper Avenue at Burnaby Lake. The
birds were on mudflats at the end of the boardwalk. A BANK SWALLOW was
seen at the Iona Ponds.

There were no reports for Monday August 16th


Sightings for Sunday August 15th

Five CASPIAN TERNS were reported from Boundary Bay Regional Park.


Sightings for Saturday August 14th

The AMERICAN WHITE PELICAN and an OSPREY were seen at the Robert's Bank
Jetty and there was a late report of an AMERICAN GOLDEN PLOVER at the foot
of 96th street Delta.


Sightings for Friday August 13th

A GREEN HERON and a female BULLOCK'S ORIOLE feeding three young were
reported from Colony Farms, Coquitlam.


Sightings for Thursday August 12th

A SOLITARY SANDPIPER was at the Beach Grove Lagoon and the AMERICAN WHITE
PELICAN was seen again at Robert's Bank.
