Okay, okay I will get to the subject later.

This morning we headed for the Lind Coulee near Potholes
Reservoir to check out the shore birds. On the way down there
we stopped at Atkins Lake and saw a lone LONG-BILLED CURLEW.

At the Lind Coulee we stopped at the parking area by the
bridge and saw many, many WESTERN SANDPIPERS, one SEMIPALMATED
SANDPIPER and after about 30 minutes of study of a bird about
100 yards away we think it might have been a STILT SANDPIPER.
It would have been a lifer for us, but we are not positive.
Also one
LESSER YELLOWLEGS.

Okay, back to the subject. Question, what is the terminal
velocity on Pelican potty. Reason for question....while we
were checking the shorebirds something smacks me in the chest
and it was WET! and WHITE! we immediately looked up and to our
amazement there were 117 WHITE PELICANS about 800 to 1000 feet
up and going higher. What a wonderful sight, of course my
shirt didn't think so.
