Please let me know if you are interested in participating in the 2nd
Klickitat County Fall NAMC on September 18th. Klickitat County is on the dry
side of the Cascades and within an hour and half of Portland, across the
River from Hood River, The Dalles, and Rufus. Last Spring we had 164 species.

For specific information on which birds and how many were seen where, check

). The sector by sector results and County map depicting sectors are linked
from Klickitat County Bird Count Results.

We are hoping to have 36 participants, birding 9 different sectors. It is
important to contact me before the 18th to get assigned to a sector, as we
don't meet as a group before the count starts. One reason is the County is
80 miles long. Following a full day of birding, we compile our results and
share the days highlights at The Big River Diner in Bingen.
