Ken, I will send out to local birders I have on a mailing list and see
if they can help you.
A Forest Service biologist and an active birder/teacher from Spokane put
together our Forest birdlist which includes Ferry county. It is hard
copy pamphlet. If you want to send me your PO address I can mail it to
you. I doubt that Sandhill Crane or Peregrine Falcon would be on the
list. The only Peregrines noted in the Ferry, Stevens and Pend Oreille
country have been near Pend Oreille. I don't know of any Sandhill Cranes
in this country either. I'm not so good on the waterfowl, occasionally
in spring migration we have had Trumpeter Swans going through the
Colville valley when the meadows are flooded, so perhaps they could be
found in San Poil valley/Republic at the same time. When you get your
list done I would appreciate getting a copy. Thanks.
