Tweetsters and Wayne: I did not comment on the subjects that Wayne alludes
to that we should drop for the very reasons he states and I agree with one
very big exception; that being his lumping the discussion of cats in the
same sentence as the other marginally relevant issues. We have done
extensive research on the subject of cats and wildlife and esp. birds and
the documented info. is too horrific to ignore. In no way do we wish to
extend this thread unnecessarily, but the apathy of some pet owners (cats
and dogs) poses one of the more serious threats to wildlife beyond habitat
loss and pollution and cannot be treated as non-relevant; and yes, Tweeters
is exactly where this most important subject should be addressed and often!
Hopefully, many others will agree and attempt to educate those around them
whom appear to be ignorant of the crisis.
