This pelican report is interesting. I was suprised by the large numbers of
pelicans (135) that I reported near La Push. I would be interested in
comments from people in their opinion as to whether this is due to the
continued warming of the ocean waters or a expansion of pelicans from
their recent haunts or a combiniation of the two. I know in other pelican
periods we have had this discussion, but a "short" discussion on the topic
would be interesting to me at least, hopefully to others as well.
