John,

I strongly agree with your point. While Don Baccus would not have won a
Miss Manners award, the fact is, he is more knowledgable on birding and
natural resource issues in general than than the 98% of us who contribute to
Tweeters.

He was the only person whose "e" mail I always made a point of reading. He
helped make Tweeters an educational, colorful, and entertaining source of
information. I am disappointed that he has been excluded, and I think the
value of Tweeters is diminished as a result.

I have to also say, I am also a bit surprised at the censorship that seems
to exist on this site. R/Steve
